The first copy I purchased had an obi with the limited # (at June Records in Toronto); side B had that stringy glue problem also (a line right through the whole record). Some of it I could pull off. I then tried to clean the smeared line with record cleaner, but when I played side b it was terrible, many clicks, pops, and areas where the sound became very muffled. Very disappointing because It's such a great record, I tried another copy from the same store with the obi with limited # info. It also had a stringy glue line. It's looks like, when the machine placed the label on side b, there was too much glue used or something. While not as bad as the first one, it still had crackles and pops on side b, such a shame because the music is so ambient and dreamy. Both side A's were fine. Recently, I was in another store (Rotate This in Toronto) and found another copy for sale, this time without the obi. I figured I would take another chance because I really like the sound of the actual music. Like sea_urchin, the third time was much better. There was still a bit of glue residue but not nearly as bad; however this one looked to have a big scratch through side B. I played it once, and there were quite a few pops. I used a dry record brush to get rid of some of the fainter glue residue and played it again. Much better. I was mostly quiet and dynamic, however with a few pops still. But I can live with this. My advice, try a non-obi version.

Can be hit and miss: I saw 3 copies: one was pretty bad (there was some kind of glue stuck on one side!), one was ok-ish (few marks and some scuffs) and the 3rd one was all right. The 3rd copy sounded OK, relatively quiet. From this label, one cannot expect great pressings, sadly enough!I saw copies with OBI and others without: does anybody know what's the story there?

I have the non-OBI version (unnumbered repress) and it sounds great. Pleasantly surprised with the sound quality considering it's an archival live recording of a practice session, and considering the reported quality and pressing issues of this label.

The music sounds good, dynamic and full, my record had no visible flaws but it is one of the noisiest pressings I've ever heard, pretty harsh sounding crackles and pops throughout the whole record and it's overwhelming, totally kills the listening experience.

Be careful with this one, mine showed up with what looked like string on one side, but it was actually something stuck to the record and in getting it off I believe I may have added to the clicks and pops on side 2. Otherwise, if yours shows up clean, its a good sounding record. Very quiet and a nice live sounding recording.
